RocaJunyent advises Colonial on the creation of a student housing and flexible living platform in Madrid.
We advised Colonial SFL on the creation of a 50:50 joint venture with Vita Group for the development of a student accommodation and flexible living platform in Madrid. The platform will initially comprise three assets with a combined gross floor area of 92,000 sqm and capacity for 2,200 beds. The transaction includes Colonial’s contribution of the former IBM headquarters in Madrid, together with two assets contributed by Vita Group.
At RocaJunyent, we have provided legal advice in the corporate, tax, and real estate areas. The transaction was led by Natalia Martí, with the participation of Eric Calero from the Corporate Department, together with the Real Estate teams led by Roger Pla. Blanca Usón and Enric Moret from the Tax Department, along with other professionals from the firm, also took part in the operation.
We would like to thank Colonial for the trust placed in our team.
