Joan Roca takes part in Expansión Jurídico to talk about how Roca Junyent is contributing to reduce the salary gap through Iqualex, our Data Science program.
The UN currently estimate the wage gap between men and women at 24% and the World Bank estimates that this difference amounts to 160 billion euros. For this reason, six lawyers from Roca Junyent and the software company Metaphase07 have launched Iqualex, a 'data science' program, which allows the salary display of each organization. In addition, it calculates the wage gap and discovers the biases that cause it to provide an automated protocol of measures to help correct it. The system, which is equipped with 'machine learning' technology, provides help to the human resources department to understand the origin of inequalities and solve them through the operation models that it is capable of elaborating from the corrective measures available to a tool that is presented in SaaS format.
