Roca Junyent strengthens its excellence in the legal profession with the recognition of 32 of its counsels in Best Lawyers

Barcelona, November 26, 2018 – Roca Junyent has once again placed thirty-two of its professionals on the list of the best attorneys in Spain prepared each year by the prestigious American magazine Best Lawyers. In this edition, Best Lawyers has recognised Joan Roca, CEO of the firm for his work in Financial Institutions and partner Anna Viladàs in the field of Advertising Law. The award recognises the most qualified professionals in a particular practice of law and a specific geographic area. 

Best Lawyers annually prepares the list of the best lawyers by country based on the comments and recommendations of legal professionals. In Spain, the ranking has more than 2,100 selected attorneys in 71 areas of practice in 21 jurisdictions. 

Coinciding with this tenth edition, Miquel Roca, President of the firm, and partners Màrius Miró, Lluís Saura and Francesc Segura have also been recognised for a total of ten consecutive years. In addition, the firm’s Corporate, Labour, Litigation and Restructuring practices are the areas that have placed the most attorneys on the Best Lawyers list in the 2019 edition.   

Eight new distinguished professionals

This year, eight new Roca Junyent professionals have debuted on the prestigious list for the first time. The new attorneys from the firm entering the ranking in this edition total six more than the previous year. These professionals are Sergi Chimenos Minguella in the area of Public Finance Law, Jordi Miró Fruns in Administrative Law, Javier Vázquez Salleras in Intellectual Property Law, and Albert Toledo Who and Maria Rosa Rodriguez in Labour and Employment Law.
