Barcelona, 10 May 2022. The General Meeting of RocaJunyent has unanimously approved the renewal of its Board of Directors for a four-year term of office. The decision of the partners reaffirms the project and roadmap of the firm, marked by innovation, sustainability, internationalisation and profitability and the necessary adaptation in the service required by the market.

Joan Roca continues to head the board as chairman, as well as the board members Natalia Martí, Santi Pagès, Josep Pujolràs, Blanca Usón, Marlen Estévez and Alex Llevat, the latter as secretary of the board. RocaJunyent's board of directors has seven members, three of whom are women.

The Corporate and M&A department is represented by the executive president himself, Joan Roca, as well as by Alex Llevat, a partner with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, and Natalia Martí, sustainability advisor and specialist in the securities market, family protocols and compliance. Santi Pagès brings his experience in corporate transactions, impact investment and international transactions, from his leadership of the firm's LatAm Desk.

Josep Pujolràs is the managing partner of the Girona office, an economist and lawyer specialised in insolvency law and restructuring. For her part, the partner Blanca Usón is a renowned tax advisor, responsible for the comprehensive recurring taxation of national and multinational companies in the firm. Finally, the partner Marlen Estévez, who joined the firm's board of directors last year as a representative of the Litigation, Mediation & Arbitration area and as head of Innovation, has also renewed her position as a member of the board of directors.

After the general meeting, Joan Roca thanked the partners for their unanimous support to continue with the firm's roadmap. The executive president highlighted "the challenges that the firm has ahead in terms of internationalisation, the mainstreaming of services, growth and the development of new practice areas". Joan Roca added that "the firm's focus is on the new economy and sustainability, especially in fintech, blockchain, data protection and cybersecurity, EGS and impact investment, but without forgetting the areas of work that have made us strong to date". The different vision and backgrounds of each of the directors, not only because of the different specialised practices, but also because of their training and practice, their youth or seniority, as economists or as lawyers, offers a diversity and plurality that the law firm has always considered essential to address the challenges of the future.

As in the past, the Board of Directors will include the Audit and Control Committee, the Cooperation and Information Body and the Coordination Committee, made up of the department heads. Internally, the firm has an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, a Corporate Sustainability Committee, a Career Plan Committee, an Appointments and Remuneration Committee, an Innovation Committee and an International Committee.
